I thought this question is rather "Out of the norm" ya..

Do note ok?

Answers:

(i)(a) No, the distribution is not normal. The random variable concerned is the number of days. Hence, is a discrete random variable.

(i)(b) No, the distrbution is not normal. The distribution may be bi-modal since it is taken from the combined distributions of 2 different groups.

(i)(c) Yes, the distribution is normal. The sample mean of distribution is taken from a normally distributed sample. Hence, the sample mean distribution follows a normal distribution.

Yay! Family day was successfully held last week and our class has made a total of $60 (Revenue) so eh... We've made approx $16++ profits after deducting the cost and stuff..

We've spent about $20 (cost)
We've earned abt $60++
We get back the reimbursement of $20
Then we will receive 40% of the remaining $40, which is $16++.

Ya.. so right... Thankz everybody who has contributed in one way or another!!!!!!!!! Although we didn't earn a lot.. at least we didn't lose money right =] but i stil veh angry tt they don't allow us to do food stall la... otherwise we could've earned more... =[ =[
